CODE BLUE has got to be the best drama this season. With a cast that consists of YamaPi, Erika Toda, Aragaki Yui, of course it has to be the best!

anyway its a great medical dorama,  the actors really put in lotsa effort(in reference to Pi’s nikki updates) to learn all the medical terms, hospital routine and such, because the situation is really very real(as in, similar to a real hospital setting) and et c.

some parts got me raising an eyebrow, such as amputating the victim’s arm on the spot, or performing a surgery when there are no seniors around and its their first time and they couldn’t identify the external illiac vein(lolol), or their amazing stamina to even be able to think properly and assess the patient’s condition after running such a long distance from the helicopter.. but well, that’s why its a dorama~!! XD

& ooh, Mr Children’s ‘HANABI’ for the ED song is nice too 8D

its the last day of attachment @ SGH’s O&G ward, a few of us bought a box of chocolates for our dear lecturer who have guided us so so much we were too busy we forgot to make a card, but im sure our feelings of gratitude will reach her, more than just a box of chocs. shes so, so nice, always so encouraging, supportive & all. *w* Most of the lecturers I’ve met in Nursing are really wonderful, totally not like previous teachers i had. They are people i actually like, respect so much and look up to as a role model.

patient education is fun too. i had a lot of fun in the parentcraft room, teaching the new parents how to bathe their babies, and how to breastfeed and use the breast milk pump.

just a few pics to show that im still alive~ 8D obs & gynae posting ends this week. i love clinical attachments, can’t wait to graduate as a staff nurse.

with my attachment mate from Myanmar bad dark lighting iz darkkkkkk, it makes me look like i have jaundice :< !
